Ecotainer™ Hot Cups

The Ecotainer™ hot cup is part of a revolutionary new line of foodservice packaging that provides a more environmentally sensitive alternative to traditional disposables. Sourced from fully renewable resources, these cups use a corn-based plastic as a moisture barrier, rather than petro-chemical. This new Poly Lactic Acid (PLA)-based coating makes the cup compostable in municipal and commercial composting facilities. Combined with a smaller manufacturing energy requirement, the Ecotainer™ hot cup reduces environmental impact while providing all the functionality of a standard cup. These compostable hot cups are the perfect cups for greening your office breakroom. Compostable in a commercial composting environment, the Ecotainer™ hot cup has an inner lining made from 100% corn whereas conventional paper hot cups have inner linings made from petroleum.

Also, the paper comes from trees that were harvested sustainably and the cups are Elemental chlorine-free. These cups perform the same or better than regular paper hot cups.

For the eco-conscious offices who use disposable dishware, but don't want to wash dishes, compostable dishware might be just the ticket. US Coffee offers a wide range of compostable dinnerware--from dishes to cafeteria-style trays and soup bowls--out of "Bagasse," a fully biodegradable organic sugar cane fiber. Unlike their traditional plastic counterparts, once such dinnerware has served its purpose it can simply be tossed in with the backyard or garden compost.

100% Recycled, Bleach-Free Dinner Napkins

These napkins are BIG, beautiful, and eco-friendly in many ways! Indeed, they are some of the best paper napkins on the market, plus they're amongst the greenest.

Made from 100% (80% post-consumer) recycled paper, and are naturally bleached white. Two great things you normally don't see in a paper napkin!

If everybody in America used a napkin at the exact same time, 1,000 trees would need to be cut down. Chlorine bleach, used in conventional napkin manufacturing, is very toxic to organic life, and is totally unnecessary for bleaching fibers. Our napkins are bleached the human-safe way, with Hydrogen Peroxide. No trees were killed to make these napkins, and no chlorine was used to bleach them.
